Meet Dr. White of Twickenham Pediatrics

Dr. Jacob White joined Twickenham Pediatrics in July 2023 following the retirement of Dr. Charles Horton.

A native of northeast Alabama, he is thrilled to be returning home to North Alabama, and looks forward to providing care for your children.

Dr. White is currently focused on assuming care of Dr. Horton's established patients.

Extensive Pediatric Medical Training

Dr. White completed his undergraduate degree in biophysics at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biophysics with a chemistry minor, and graduated with Honors in Physics and Honors in Science and Technology. He received his medical education at the University of Virginia

His specialty training in pediatrics was completed at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine-Chattanooga.

Board Certified Pediatrician

He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Immunizations are Important

Dr. White practices scientific, evidence-based medicine where proof exists regarding the safety and efficacy of a medication or procedure. In keeping with this principle, she follows the immunization schedule recommended by the CDC and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
